This past week was filled with a trip to the annual apple festival and a family clam bake. Pictures include a caramel apple dish, a buffalo burger and a seafood pack. Also shown is Katelin at the Republican Headquarters office in Lebanon, Ohio.
Introducing the 2008 Ford Focus. It's not a Mercedes, but it does get 32MPG. Also shown, are the other vehicles of the family. The fact that they are all silver is coincidence.
Cincinnati hosted its annual Oktoberfest. To enjoy my own German heritage, we tried Goetta , Metworst, Sauerkraut Balls, Mock Turtle Soup, Potato Pancake and Strudel.
This week, we visited Chinhae, Korea. Due to a camera battery issue, we did not get to capture all of our Korean dining; however, we were able to get some pictures of the local fish market.
On this evening, I went to a famous Izikia in Tokyo. On the menu was beef Tataki (seared), rabbit liver served with strawberry and chocolate sauce, fried crab ball and salted pork on a stick.
On this adventure, we tried the following: fried chicken hamburger, raw oyster, raw beef with quail egg, yakatori (chicken skin, gizzard and heart), pig intestine soup, stir fried pig ear and a full complement of sashimi (raw fish).
Upon the recommendation of my Brother and his wife, we opted to put down pine needle vice mulch--since it's supposed to last longer and easier to spread out. I think we may have started a trend in the neighborhood.
