This week, we visited Chinhae, Korea. Due to a camera battery issue, we did not get to capture all of our Korean dining; however, we were able to get some pictures of the local fish market.
On this evening, I went to a famous Izikia in Tokyo. On the menu was beef Tataki (seared), rabbit liver served with strawberry and chocolate sauce, fried crab ball and salted pork on a stick.
On this adventure, we tried the following: fried chicken hamburger, raw oyster, raw beef with quail egg, yakatori (chicken skin, gizzard and heart), pig intestine soup, stir fried pig ear and a full complement of sashimi (raw fish).
Upon the recommendation of my Brother and his wife, we opted to put down pine needle vice mulch--since it's supposed to last longer and easier to spread out. I think we may have started a trend in the neighborhood.
